1. Product description

HPM ready-mixed dry plaster is a cement-based mortar that is automatically mixed at the HPM factory in Ba Trai Area, Lien Chau Commune, Phu Tho Province. The composition includes Portland cement, selective dried sand, fly ash and specialized additives, which are weighed and quantified according to the design mix. At the construction site, only add water according to the guided ratio and mix evenly, no need to sift sand or measure cement.

The product has three grades M50, M75 and M100, achieving TCVN 4314:2022 certification issued by Opacontrol (certificate No. 33928A-CPS).

Differences from self-mixing mortar at the construction site

  • Uniform quality between batches: automatic weighing distribution at the factory, regardless of the measuring method of each worker.
  • Long operation time: the sample at Opacontrol has a starting time of 248 to 255 minutes, and the worker has enough time to flatten the wall.
  • Stable plasticity: the fluidity retention capacity reaches 82.0 to 82.5%, with less water added in the middle.
  • Compact construction site: no need for a sand and cement collection site, reduce dust and waste to be cleaned up after construction.
“Plaster is the base layer. If you want a smooth flat surface before painting, you should continue to apply HPM Smooth Pro rubbing mortar or putty according to the design.”

2. On-site applications

  • Plastering interior and exterior walls: envelope walls, partition walls, load-bearing walls in civil houses, industrial works and technical infrastructure.
  • Ceiling plastering: plastering for concrete ceiling surfaces.
  • Masonry wall surface treatment: fill in the protrusions and deviations of the brick wall, create a flat foundation for the rubbing mortar, matite bait or backing coating.

Choosing a mortar label by category

  • M50: plastering interior walls in people's houses, basic items or works that need to be cost optimized.
  • M75: the most commonly used grade, plastering interior and exterior walls according to standard requirements.
  • M100: exterior walls, load-bearing walls and areas that are frequently damp, need a stronger solid mortar.

4. How to use and application steps

Construction Information

  • Mixing ratio: water is equal to 17 to 22% of the volume of dry mortar, equivalent to about 8.5 to 11 liters of clean water for 1 bag of 50 kg.
  • Plaster thickness: 8 to 20 mm per layer. Areas that need to be thicker than 15 mm should be divided into two layers to avoid sagging and cracking due to shrinkage.
  • Reference norms (excluding loss): 10 mm thick about 15 to 16 kg/m²; 15 mm thick about 23 to 24 kg/m²; 20 mm thick about 31 to 32 kg/m². The actual amount of use depends on the flatness of the masonry wall.
  • Time to use after mixing: about 60 to 90 minutes.
  • Construction surface temperature: from 12°C to 40°C.

Step 1: Surface Preparation

The surface must be solid, clean, free of grease and impurities. With strong water absorption walls, moisten before plastering but do not let water stagnate.

Step 2: Mix the mortar

Put the quantified amount of water into the mixing tank, slowly pour in the HPM dry mortar and stir with a low-speed mixer until the mortar is flexible, homogeneous, and not clumpy. Do not add sand, cement or other materials.

Step 3: Plastering walls and ceilings

Use a trowel to plaster directly on the wall or ceiling, brush the handle evenly with a ruler and then rub the finish. Use up the mortar within the allowed time, do not use mortar that has started to set.

Step 4: Maintenance

Keep the plaster surface moist in the early days, especially when it is hot and dry, to limit crow's feet cracking due to rapid water loss.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, put on a pallet, do not put directly on the floor. Keep the bag tight, use on a first-in, first-out basis. Shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture.
