HPM GROUT 600

HPM Grout 600 is a cement-based, ready-mixed, special technical mortar that has the features of self-flowing, self-draining air bubbles and especially non-shrinkage during the curing process. The product is specially designed for items that require the ability to withstand large dynamic loads, high technical accuracy such as pouring and positioning machine platforms, steel column legs, bridge pillows, beam head inserts and structural gap patching.

4. How to use and application steps

Step 1: Step 1

Prepare the surface & formwork. Chisel out weak concrete, clean it of dirt, grease. Watering moistens the concrete surface to the point where it is full of water but does not allow water to stagnate. Erect watertight formwork, reinforce firmly.

Step 2: Step 2

Proportion & Mix the mortar. Pour 85% of the specified amount of water (about 3.0 - 3.5 liters of water for a 25kg bag) into the bucket, slowly add HPM Grout 600 powder. Use a vane mixer (400 - 500 rpm) to mix for 3-5 minutes, add the remaining water step and mix until the mixture is homogeneous.

Step 3: Step 3

Grain pouring Pour the grout continuously from one side to avoid trapping air bubbles and maintain an uninterrupted flow. Make sure the amount of mortar is sufficient to create free-flowing pressure on the areas to be filled.

Step 4: Step 4

Maintenance Moisten the surface with a wet sack or spray a curing agent as soon as the mortar begins to set (usually after 24 hours) to avoid rapid water loss that causes surface cracking.
